Common questions

Where are my picture-notes stored?

Only on your iPhone, inside NoteIt. There's no account or cloud sync, so nobody else can see them, including the developer.

Will I lose my notes if I delete the app?

Yes. Deleting NoteIt removes everything it stored. An iCloud or computer backup of your iPhone may include NoteIt's data, and restoring that backup can bring it back.

Why does NoteIt show ads?

Ads keep NoteIt free. They're provided by Google AdMob and are never based on your notes or photos.

How do I stop personalised ads?

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn NoteIt off. You'll still see ads, but they won't use your advertising identifier.
